I didn't realize he was from bryan. Thats awesome. Hope he stays on fish all three days. That would be really cool to see him place well. My fantasy team will hate me though.

All good picks. Lane is solid on Hartwell, Feider will be good if he can find them vertically, Wheeler and Hartman are beasts wherever they go.

Palaniuk, Christie, Wheeler and maybe J. Lee. Really hoping Ike wins and does a drop the mic/retire move right on stage but he's struggled staying consistent across a weekend lately. The weather looks like the fish could be moving quite a bit from day to day so it could be interesting. Probably see several guys smoke em one day then struggle the other days.

Ike has been having a rough couple of years. I was listening to an interview he had recently and he was saying that he is fishing better right now than ever before. Hopefully thats the case. Tournaments are always very interesting when that dude is on top of the leader board.

I’m surprised there’s not more people picking Casey Ashley to take it. Hartwell is his home lake and he won it back in 2015. I think him and Wheeler will be at the top. And Iaconelli will be hungry since he almost didn’t make the tournament this year. Can’t count him out.... should be fun.

For sure Ashley has to be the pick if I had money on it and I'm glad I don't! Tough pick but, I think Jacob Powroznik will be the guy this year. It's his deal. He had the hardest road to the classic of the elites. He probably would have won in 2015 if he hadn't got delayed 2 hours that morning. I've been waiting for him to break out in the elites and hopefully he will shine!

Good point Eric. I remember he was rookie of the year his first year which might have been right around 2015. He’s talented and has a knack for catching big fish.
