Started out fishing a main lake point around 7:00 am with a 6in swim bait, and on my 3rd cast I caught my first keeper. About 5 casts after that I had one hit it hard but didn’t hook so I just kept slow rolling it and it came back and committed. She weighed 6lb. I started throwing a jerk bait and caught 2 fish on one cast. I stayed on that spot for an hour and a half and caught 11 fish. I then fished another point with a dock on it and caught 2 with a chatterbait. After that I found some fish on a ledge so threw my buoy marker to mark my spot but didn’t catch any so I decided I’d hit another ledge spot. I got to my next spot and realized I’d left my buoy marker at my last spot! Lol. Luckily it was still there. By this time it was 11:30 so I decided to hit up my first spot before I got off the water at 1:00. I ended up catching 3 more with a jerkbait and went home with a huge smile on my face.
