Hey everyone! How are things done in Nooga and surrounding areas? I have had an ongoing debet with some friends and wanted to see if most of you on here are as split as we seem to be. Here is the question. Do you leave your batteries on a on board type charger 24/7 - 365 days a year? Well of course I mean when it is at home or in storage? Some say that you can and should leave it piuged when it's not being used and even if it sits for 6+ month at a time with no use. Others say that is it to dangerous to leave it plugged in 24/7. Heard stories of chargers starting fires and burning up the boat and even the home. What do you do? How do you feel about this?

Dual Pro three bank charger 10amps per bank and has been left on for past 11yrs 24/7 and never had a problem, keeps them ready to go at a moments notice emoThumbsup

I dont know if it matters honestly. I just plug mine in the night before and the next morning its ready to go.

On the face this looks like you don't charge them after you go, but wait til the next time you are going

I hope that's not the case, but if it is, you are seriously damaging your batteries by leaving them in a discharged state

Batteries should be charged immediately after use
