How do you hook up cables on 2 batteries to make it 24v for trolling motor. Thanks emoScratch

take one batteries positive to TM put that batteries ground to the other batteries positive then take that batteries ground to the TM

Maybe. But not in all cases. Depends on how the boat is wired. Mine has four wires, two from each battery run forward and they're jumpered at the trolling motor plug.

If it has three or four wires its a 12/24 I'll do one for that too

Mine too. Notice he said plug, not socket. You have 2 separate 12 volt connections at the socket. By disconnecting the plug, you can charge the batteries with 2 separate chargers. </p>

I think you would have charging problems without the batteries being separated.</p>

Here's the only other two ways I know of wiring em up. Other than just wiring 12 volts up together.
