battery/charger???

I charged my trolling motor batteries last night and this morning one bank was green and the other was still all red.Both batteries were purchased the same time about four months ago.What gives????

What kind are they? You may have a bad connection or a bad cell.

if you are using the 12v (primary battery)more than the 24v it sometimes takes longer for the 12v to charge ....and mine sometimes goes thru the starting to charge phase more than once after it`s already charged.....they do wacky things sometimes. I`d say BeetleSpins suggestion is probably the right one.....
But sometimes batteries go bad early too.

Beetlespin you were right I had a bad connection.I checked my wing nuts and one was loose on that battery and I tightened it up and it charged.Problem fixed!!!
