Just want to know. How do most of you charge your battery. With that said I leave mine pluged in to my on board charger all week until I go out the next time. Is this going to ruin my battery life keeping plged in all the time. Are after it is fully charged should I unplug it. Info please.

Personally, I unplug after mine goes all green. Just don't like leaving a lot of stuff plugged in unattended. If I don't fish for a week or so, I'll plug it back in the day/night before. That's just me. A lot of folks do it your way too.

once charged most chargers will swap it over to a trickle charge which just maintains the charge you should be fine

I about burned the boat, truck and house down with a bad battery charger one night. I love the on board chargers, but since then I always unplug them when they get all green. I was lucky that time that my son happened to walk by the boat and saw her smokin'.

... I charge as soon as I get home, run until green, and disconnect. I've had to many people tell me results like Thigh line has said. I also had a friend of mine that had a battery literally explode in his garage!
