I used to have a charcoal green egg smoker, gave it to my in laws because I wanted to get a gas one. The flavor on the charcoal is better but the convenience of the gas is awesome. So now I need an actual bbq and I want it to have a smoker box. Saw one at Sams Club that was gas and charcoal with a side burner and a smoker box. But the reviews werent great.
My question is, if you were to buy a bbq like the one I saw at Sams ($500 would be my max) what would you get? Saw Liveliners pork shoulder and it reminded me that I've been without a bbq for almost 2 years! Haha Thanks guys.

Heres the one I saw at Sams. Reviews say it rusts real easy because of the heat from the grill, and not from the outdoor elements.

if you are wanting convenience I would get a gas smoker and a gas grill. I would probalby buy a used weber grill and a masterbuilt gas or electric smoker. Of course I wouldn't switch to gas if it were me.

I still have my gas smoker for convenience, but want to be able to use charcoal whenever I want. So Im looking for a hybrid grill where I have the option to use both. I looked at Weber grills online and I am going to have to go used to keep it in my budget. Or Im going to have to sacrifice convenience for taste and go with charcoal.
