Well we all knew the streak for the SEC had to end some time. I was really impressed of how physical Auburn came out in the first half. They really had FLa St on their heels and that defense never knew what was coming. The Seminoles made real good adjustments at the half and looked like a different team. I never thought Auburn should've been a 10 point underdog and they showed why in the first half. I thought they pulled off another 4th quarter win after re-taking the lead but the 'Noles just wouldn't stay down. Great game and I hope the new playoff system coming in works out. I have a feeling we'll all want the BCS back after a few years! Hope the SEC can get that title back next year! emoSmile

I thought over all, Auburn was the better team. Auburn called off the dogs and went to a nickle D and that's all FSU needed.

Just a thought. SEC has a ton of naysayers who believe we arent the premier league in the nation. Yet even in the NC win for the 'Noles is an SEC connection. FSU has two coacheswith strong ties to the league. Randy Sanders ( who, btw, earned his second NC ring), & Jay Graham who played for Randy at Tennessee

I thought Auburn was the much better team. Yes they did go conservative which ended up hurting them, but they whipped FSU up and down the field? Anyone find it sickening that Famous Jamis wins the MVP after playing like garbage the whole game except the last drive. If he had been the MVP it would not have come down to the last drive. I thought Mason worked hiss ass off and deserved it personally

There are 5 FSU coaches that coached at UT at some point. </p>

I agree Dusty, Mason was a beast . He's fun to watch. I hate Auburn's qb. He doesn't even read defenses. Just throws the ball no matter what. Has an arm though.

Mason definitely carried the offense. This has been the story most of the season. I too thought he should've won the MVP honors.

Love to watch Mason run. He seems to have so much fun and never gets tired. Auburn played a great game and but for a missed field goal and interception they would have won. They will be back next year to take another Iron Bowl victory from BAMA, and compete in the new Final Four football championship. UT will have another tough year, and MAYBE get enough wins to be bowl eligible.

The Vols showed us some signs of an upward swing in the season. They also showed us how young they are a few times. Butch will bring them back to a top 3 east division team. I personally miss seeing the Vols in the mix every year. Looking forward to next season and seeing what everyone does.
