Coincidence. Arrived in Warren county around 5:15 and started getting ready. After much review of the radar this morning, decided for the blind in the foodplot. Thunder was rolling to the west and I scurried for the blind. Earliest I ever heard gobbling, as every time there was thunder I heard gobbling, it was still dark. I camped there, in the blind listening to more than one gobbler sound off. They sounded off for the next 30 minutes. Then the rain came. I almost took a nap. I would have except for the 1 inch of water in the blind. She just appeared, beard and all. Feeding and looking. I clucked, she clucked and looked and came on down, just like Make A Deal. She picked the wrong door. Crossbow at 35 yards.
