Raced dirt track at Cleveland, north georgia, crossville, Chattanooga (boyds) and my favorite track Tennessee motor speedway just west on 40 of cookville on Baxter exit. Raced from 1997 till 2006 every weekend. Won 13 feature races and finished second in a track championship . kids came along and body got beat up pretty bad so i decided to go back to the things my dad brought me up doing and that was hunting and fishing. Had a 12 ft flat bottom and a 9 1/2 horse evenrude . Dad and i Fished nick a jack. With live bait for anything that would bite. Co worker had a bass boat and ran a Saturday night tx on watts bar. So I jumped in and bought a bass boat In 2006 and the rest is history. Been having fun ever since. Now I've got a triton which I love.

Fishing is ageless. You can enjoy it for the rest of your life!

Hook1... you never were a golfer. emoPoke

Thats funny  I seem to remember beating you a couple times and you weren't too shabby! emoLaugh On that note we don't need to talk about how many times you beat me. emoRedface

I know alot of guys that switched hobbies to fishing.....There is something about that tap/hit in fishing that keeps you coming back.

I played college football, and used to watch it all the time. Since I stopped all that fishing is my love like football used to be

I hear ya' I sold my 69 Camaro (resto mod) and bought a new Tracker, Then sold my 65 Nova drag car and have been saving a ton of money!
Racing's kinda sick-you'll spend 4 grand trying to win a thousand. You can only do it one day a week for a limited season-and if it rains you can't do it at all!
You made the right move!
