Took an couple of co-workers below the dam to drift shinners. They were both wanting to get into fishing and thought this might be a good start for them. We put in a 8:30 ran to the dam and drifted to back to the Riverpark. The bite was slow but ended the day with 2-nice blue cats (10-lb +/- and 3-lb +/-) and 1-smallmouth (not a keeper) in the boat, all caught by my buddies. I blew a rod out of the boat, got broke off once, and lost a smallmouth because it came to the top so fast I could not catch it.
Overall a good morning on the river. I have pics but after seeing the 75-lber from Sequoyah they did not want me to post theirs.
