Well at least I think those are the right days. Been so much lately I can barely remember. Anyway, here is the report:

Dad and I caught 4 or 5 smallmouth Sat afternoon and two of those were right at 4 lbs, other two were just wannabies. Caught one Sauger also.

Monday, can't remember really.

Tuesday morning- during one hour on about a 500 yard stretch of bank, I caught 3 smallmouth that went 3, 4, and 5 lbs respectively. Sorry no pictures as I was by myself and don't own a camera so you can just trust me. Also WHENWEGOIN and I have become quite the experts at weight guessing so I know I am close. Also added around 5-6 drum with the last one going around the 20lb mark.

I will be going Thursday of this week and may have the backseat taken already, but not sure. If someone wants to go if can't I will be glad to take you.

I sure will Polo. I will let you know the next time WHENWEGOIN aint goin. Which is a rare occassion. After this week I will be going only on the weekends anyway as I am starting a new job and will probably not have any vacation time for the first few months.

If you fish EARLY, I'd love to join you for a little while. I'd need to hit the bank and head for work at 9:15. If you find somebody to hang in with you for the day, or don't head out early, no problem, I understand. Otherwise I'd like to hit it for an hour or two.

Richard, I probably won't get on the water until around 8:30 or 9:00 as I will have to take my youngest to school in the morning. We will hook up sometime though.

Good luck! I'll be thinkin' about you. Calling for rain... yucky weather to fish in, but the smallmouth love it ugly!

When you drift below the dam..are you just drifting or do you use your trolling motor to slow down the drift? I know they can really push some water and smallmouth are real slow this time of year. Just want to know if you really need to slow down the drift or just let it go.
