Fished with my wife this morning from 8-10am this morning for a quick trip on the water before family comes in for Thanksgiving....Water temp was 56F...Water was really up high due to the recent rains.. Good clarity in the water too. Trolled for some smallmouth off the bank in 12 feet ofwater and picked up 4 fish in the first hour....Had to really slow it down...The biggest fish, a 16"er, hit while my wife had her line out and I was fooling aroung with the fish locater..We were almost just drifting in the current when the fish hit..If the Float N Fly works when water temps are below 55F then I know why, because with water at 57F they have slowed way down! We then fished for an hour in the boils trolling for stripers and nothing...There just not there right now...There was another boat there and they struck out too. Good, cloudy day on the water.
