<font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" color="#000066">I personally like bass fishing below the dam, we catch ALOT of spots this time of year with an ocassional smallmouth here and there. I usually fish from the dam to just around the bend and do O K in the summer but I really love to go down there in the winter and drift live bait for those big brown fish

best part of chattanooga is the fishing on the jack below the dam. big browns good spots and great fatheads

I would also agree, if you are interested in Largemouth Bass though...go elsewhere...not many down there from my experience....SPOTs Galore!

There are plenty of largmouth, just have to know how to catch them. I've caught some of my best largmouth right below the dam.

If your bank fishing you might want to try the area by the railroad bridge below the dam. If caught bass on a variety of lures there.

Yep,that is a great place! They lay behind those big ol rocks in the water. When the water is way up,they get in the weeds along the bank, then it gets fun!!
