best battery

i know we have had this brought up more than once but we have a lot of new people now.what is the best battery for a boat?cranking battery that will be running everything except trolling motor.all so best battery for the trolling motor?btw i would like to see a section on forum for polls on everything to do with a boat.bbc has it and it is helpful seeing what others think before they buy.just a idea.

i guess bs must be right Die Hard Platinum has the best reserve if any that i have found so far.

... the Die Hard, The dig Delco and the yellow Optima for cranking. They cost more, but there is a reason.

For what it's worth here's my 2 cents===everything in my boat runs on my trolling batteries, I split everything up between the two. There is nothing more aggravating to me than to hit the start switch and have the big motor starter click so now I'm down in the boat trying to change a battery so I can get back to the dock.
Those Trojan batteries that come in golf carts are hard to beat on stamina from charging.
