This is my first season fishing up here in TN, moved up from south FL about a year ago. Im looking to fish the riverpark area and wanted to know what my options were as far as boat ramps. I went to the ramp yesterday right by the Dam and the TVA facilities. Are there any other options for a ramp? I noticed there was no place to tie the boat up while I parked the truck and the area had multiple questionable people standing around.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best ramp is at the RiverPark itself. Go past Chattanooga State and The Dupont Parkway overpass. The RiverPark has an entrance on each side of thedu Pont Parkway overpass. Just past the overpass is the lower entrance to the riverpark. Enter there and the ramp is just past the Navy/Marine training facility on your left. Plently of parking. It's well patrolled, well lit at night and hasa nice dock to tie up to while you park your vehicle. When you park be sure to park in such a way that both your trailer and your vehiclw are between the lines in the parking lot. You WILL get a ticket (usually a warning) if you encrouch onto to another parking space. When leaving the Ramp area, if you are heading towards downtown, turn right out of the ramp area, If you are headed toward Hixson, turn left, go past the concession building and playground and leave the park at the upper entrance, be sure to maintain the posted speed limit. This gives you a right hand turn onto Amnicola Hwy with the entrance ramp to Dupont Packway just a few hundred yards down the road.
