I use an Okuma Scott Martin TCS. It’s 7’11 Med Heavy with a Mod/fast taper. I love it. You can absolutely bomb a 6 or 8xd

ALX Zolo Grind. It's a 7-10 heavy/fast rod specifically designed to manage baits that dive +12'.

JB Custom Rods Missile. It's also a 7-10. Not quite as heavy on the action, lil bit softer tip. manages the big XD baits very nicely.

Any 7-7-6" med hvy fast action will work great. Check out David Dudley's youtube vids on deep crankbaiting. He explains how a stout sensitive graphite rod is best for feeling the bottom and hookset etc. I have several specialized crankin rods and have found no advantage to using glass or 's'glass rods. In fact I've found that one of them is best for a 3/4 oz chatterbait. Go figure. The heavier long rods will give you more casting distance but weigh more and will cause more fatigue over a lightweight graphite or nano core blank. The Bass Pro Shops Crankin Sticks' are great rods. I have no complaints about them. There's a broad scope of variables when it comes to crank bait technique and equipment. IMO

I love the duckett white ice II, 7‘10“, medium heavy cranking rod. Paired with a lews BB1 pro speed spool bait caster, you can launch the bait a mile. But l agree with what Glenn said above, any med hey rod over 7' gets the job done. I have an old bass pro crankin stick from 10 years ago paired with a 5500C3 that works good too. I still use it sometimes as backup.

Duckett rods has great cranking rods, from there cheapest to most expensive ones, they get the job done.
