Best ramp access in Sale Creek area

Planning on fishing a new area of Chick on Friday. My son wants to try Sale Creek area. I'm from Loudon so I'll be coming down I-75 South. What's the best access points in that area? Thanks.

There is a boat ramp right there in Sale Creek by the bridge

Call them see if you can use their boat ramp

Depends on how you are coming down. You could launch on the east side of the river at the Grasshopper Creek ramp and run across the lake. It may save you some driving distance, especially if you plan on fishing the river. Grasshopper ramp is about a mile from the mouth of Sale Creek and 2 - 3 miles from the Browns Bridge ramp that you were given above.

The Sale Creek recreation area is off of May Road. The address given above is for Possum Creek.

Thanks for all the info. Talked to a nice lady at Grasshopper today and looks like that will be easy to get to. $5 fee for all day so not too bad. Now if we can just find some fish.

Stay in grasshopper for a while there are fish in there
