This was pretty darned informative. Thanks for sharing this. In my neck of the woods it's the northern snakehead. There was wild speculation at first about how this invasion would ruin the bass populations in host systems. When you look at the data, it appears as if the prolific spawning habits of the NSH have been a boon to predator fish like perch, crappie, and bass. Nothing conclusive. More work to be done, as is the case w/ AC. Will take a combination of science and recreational enthusiasts/conservationists to get to a final solution. A video like this helps press home the importance of implementing a fix based on fact, not speculation.

Yeah I've heard so many things about the asian carp, and I was very encouraged after watching this video. The more scientific data we have the better. I love fishing kentucky lake and I have a Tx there next month, so I was looking for info on how bad it really was. I do wish they would go ahead and install sound and bars at kentucky dam just like they did at barkley. It would be good to have at all the dams at this point.
