Just a heads up if your planning on having any plumbing work done I wouldn't recommend keefe plumbing. They surprised my wife an I two days before thanksgiving they showed up an said they where goin to replace our sewer line from the house to the road and that the city of east ridge was paying for it we'll we had concerns because of thanksgiving was two days away and we had a lot people coming over they told us it would be completed. Well they haven't been back since the first day they've dug up my yard and replaced the line. The line is still exposed and there are six piles of dirt and a pile of gravel in my driveway and yard. We have called keefe and they say they are waiting on the city to inspect the line well the we called the city of east ridge they come out and showed us where they had inspected the line the very next day and they where goin to call keefe. The city later calls us back and says that keefe told them they where behind on work so keefe lied to me the city recommended Calvin sneed what do you think

Calvin Sneed just my ass one time and I got it done the next day. Sucks being on TV. (That was a few years ago.)

Businesses do get really far behind when conditions like freezing pipes give to them higher priorities. If you were waiting on a plumber with water spraying into your walls you would understand how that rates over making a yard pretty.
I hate and despise a Friggin Liar regardless of who he is. Even if the President should ever lie to me.... So, What I would do is to first call the company owner and speak directly to him before calling Calvin. He may not be aware that he has an employ who is juggling work orders who is taking the easy route by lying to customers... I would mention to Him that Calvin is your next option due to the Lies and not so much the schedule issues... I will bet you dinner at the Kyrstal he will Roto-root someone's personal drain over this. and just Maybe a Liar will be looking for a new job here at Christmas time. Keefe is too responsible as a company to do such as this..

I am thinking you meant to type "Saved"

If not I understand. I had a similar experience when I was in college and needed a little money. Still a little regret, but time is a wonderful healer.

Why don't you sue the city that you live in if you want a cookie. Keefe was contracted by your city to do a job on or by a certain date. He did his part, he waits for the city to tell him it has been inspected and he finishes the job. I have a hard time believing any city employee was working the day before thanksgiving. And if I were the owner of Krefeld blumbing, I have the right not to work a day if I dont want.... Have fun getting anywhere with it. I would be greatful crap didn't blow out of the pipe while me and my family are enjoying a fat bird at the table! It's hard to be greatful though ain't it?

I don't see how you can bash a company for this.

The title should read: beware of the city of east ridge

I'm not bashing anyone they are the one that did this not me. Maybe you would like them to come dig up your yard and wait four weeks to come finish?

Sorry buddy, but it sounded like they were being bashed. The city paid them to dig up your yard. Why don't you tell Calvin that. It's not my fault you post this on a public forum and don't like the honest feedback. Best of wishes thread fin.

Oh and one call to Calvin and they where there the next day!

Good fo Calvin and you. Hope it works out well!!! I would not want my yard dug up for a month either, so goo luck.....Jim

Calvin's a pansy ass! When I had a problem with the old M&M Marine over the condition of a new boat I'd bought, he replied that dealing with "sporting businesses wasn't his expertice"
I got the impression he didn't want to deal with "good old boys"
A friend of mine is prominent in the BBB and she commented that he will only take issues with companies with several existing BBB complaints so he has backing for his spinelss self.
But yeah-like the others said, it really is an East Ridge issue.
Your bio says you're from High Point, Ga.
