well lets just say that i do have enough clothes for about anything. drew out a super nice guy sam moody he calls me @6:00 (our time) and says hes got a flat. get a cup of coffee and biscuit i'll be there shortly.didnt matter anyway we were boat#154. after perils of tire problems we meet up find the line to the ramp still backed up to civic center. icing problems on the ramp. we decided to run around to mink creek to launch good move. made check in early because of the aformentioned problems @ ramp for every one else. we run upriver past bb comer pulled into a creek and stayed there till about 12:45. first fish for me was about 9:45 good fat 4.5oz, largehead.sam connected a few minutes later all our fish came in a stretch of grass(scattered) probably no more than twenty-five yds long. water depth 3-5' although 1 fish came in inches of water yes i said inches. sam had 4-9.6 and mine for 4.5 not bad for a smallish piece of real estate. surface temp.36-37 did find some warmer water laterin day (when i finally decided i needed to pee) not a bad day for fishing in rain ,snow ,sleet and last few minutes of rain. met a nice guy had a great time learned an awful lot from a fellow that was a joy to fish with. oh yeah, all five came on red rattletrap or red rattletrap and a red rattletrapemoSmile emoSmile sorry for the long post but i think some good info. good luck to all fishin season is in high gear now!!!!!!!!!!!
