Does anyone totally understand the rules of the Big Bass Splash? I have read through the rules and I am not 100% sure how it works. Is there a weigh in every hour?

Thanks for help.

Every hour starting at 7-8 9-10 11-12 1-2 bonus card will pay two extra places each our and bonus hour card will double your winnings 8-9 12-1 go to big bass splash on line double check it's a lot of fun been fishing them for years

They are fun to fish Pete but there is some strategy involved? Listen to the radio they announce what is leading for that hour. Don’t go in at the beginning of the hour. Buy the card and shirt may increase your chances a bit. You can also launch anywhere if you have a favorite spot.

Thanks for the info guys. I have a relative that was going to fish it out of kayak, I said heck, lets fish out of my boat. I might give it a shot....

Yeah dude unless you fish right by blue water I wouldn't be using a kayak! haha I'm so ready to win that boat!

Yea that would be a sweet ride!

Make sure everything on your boat works! There have been people that lose a lot of money for a non working kill switch.

Roger that! emoThumbsup

A kayak may be the best option right,,,looks like it's almost white water the current is so strong rolling out Richland,,,it's almost pulling the bouys under

Gonna be a cold rough ride up to Dayton to weigh in if the forecast is correct. Wind chill in the 20s and 30s until near noon. Wind 10-20 mph.

I really wanted to fish it this year, and it seems like I say that every year, but I have a tournament and can’t make it. Good luck to you guys if you fish it.

Yea, that's a good point. I was planning on putting in at Soddy and working my way up to Dayton, but having second thoughts because I assume there will be a lot of floating debris to contend with and it is about a 16 mile ride up there. Not to mention having to come back down to Soddy.

Hey Pete the debris is not that bad at all. I really didn't see anything on the main channel. You should be just fine
