Big Bass Tour

Congrats to all the winners! I saw several names I recognized from the forum or CBA that won money!
Our lake is truly incredible - The winning weight was 8.98 and the top ten were all above 7.5 with alot of 8+'s
My son and I fished it and learned a lot about how not to target big fish - LOL - but we did register early and got the two Shimano rods so not a total loss.
The wind was brutal!! I thought Saturday was bad but trying to fish some ledges Sunday or run the lake was a frightening experience.
I don't know where the big fish came from - we tried everything in the boat. Caught some fours but every hour the smallest was usually five + and the one hour we had a chance we did not get the four.
It was a lot of pressure to get updates on your phone and see the top ten go from 3's and 4's to 5's and 8's!
Fun time with my son regardless.

They are a really fun format and very well ran trail! I've fished with them for 3 years now on Guntersville, St. Johns river and now Chickamauga. I was only able to fish Sunday for this even but we enjoyed it, the ride up the river to Dayton from Harrison bay was interesting to say the least. lol

Yes the ride up the river to Dayton from the Harrison Bay area was so interesting I did it twice yesterday. I am sore from head to toe!

I also made the run on Gville from Jones creek to South Sauty creek 4 different times Friday and Saturday along with the beating yesterday. I woke up this morning and felt old! lol

GAFisherman is the worst partner ever......he just shows up whenever he wants. What a Diva!
