James killed this huge coyote Saturday at our property. I didnt put it on scales but it is by far the biggest I have ever seen in TN. It was a boy-dog, maybe the alpha male. James has decided to send him to the taxidermist. This thing would have no problem taking down a week deer. I'm glad we have one less fawn and turkey killer in our woods!

Dang! Thats the biggest I have seen. Dad and I each have killed one this year but they were pups compared to that beast.

After season, I am going to have to try and do some coyote killing.
Saturday morning my Dad actually watched a team of three yots come in and stragically try to ambush a button buck. They were so perficient that he could not even get a shot of either of them. emoEnforce

Dude, I did'nt know they got that big! I hope I don't ever get staulked and attacked by one like that when I'm unarmed in the woods hiking.

Makes me wonder about it's bloodline - ??? - I've never seen one nearly that big. In the pic it seems to have a VERY heavy body. I would have used a bazooka on it too! emoLaugh

Kill' em all. The property I hunt is getting infested with these stupid things. We're seeing less and less dear every year and I think its mainly 'yotes responsible. I had a pretty scary encounter with a whole pack walking out in the dark last Sunday and was able to take one down. I shot 5 last year and didn't put a dent on the population. I've got one so far and hope the figure grows!!!! I have seen several this big but most of what I see hunting are juveniles. A 30-06 makes a pretty mean mess of them also.

Did it stink? They usually smell so bad you don't want to get close. That is a biggun. I think they enjoying all the food sources in our area, I've seen a few big ones like this around Meigs & McMinn counties.

i think you killed Tom's hybred.....said he let it out to go to the bathroom and never came back....his little 6 yr. old daughter hasnt said a word since his missing....she sure loved ole Sam

Glad ya got one o'l boy! It's kinda funny that you were just talking about killing one the night before and sure enough... you got your wish. Congrats!!!
Maybe next weekend i'll talk about killing a 12 pt buck... we'll see how that goes for me! LMAO

Churly You say on your property. Are you talking about behind your house? I am still looking for the ones down behind my house. Found another dead rabbit the other day.
