Was able to make it down to Lake Seminole this past weekend to fish the FLW College tournament on Lake Seminole this past Saturday. It was my first time fishing those waters and my first FLW tournament. It was the same morning as the Everstart Series tournament and we used the same ramp and everything as the pros did, it was a pretty cool experience standing right beside well known fisherman knowing we were about to go out there and do the same thing.

We got delayed an hour due to fog so we didnt get to aunch unti 8:30 and had to be back by 1:30 by weigh in. The spot we fished was about 12 miles from the launch ramp and we stayed there most of the time. We fished 4-7 FOW most of the day throwing mosty traps and rigs, occasionaly threw a jig and texas rigged worms. Lance hooked a short fish that came off at the boat but it woudn't have been a keeper. We fished one slough for about 3 hours and I was ony able to catch one fish on a 5 wire rig, only weighed a little over 2lbs. Those were the only bites we came across all day.

We came back to the weigh in with only one fish, didn't bother to weigh it in. it only took 10lbs to win the tournament. So we werent the only people having trouble finding a bite, nobody was able to catch a limit. There will always be next year!
