Dude, I was gonna comment on this, but i cant think of any word to describe this. That thing must have been watching Big Eats on the travel channel or something. That is just WOW!!!!!!
 
Theres a ton of other vids like that one too. My son spent some time on You Tube showing them to me. He just bought a Ball Python for Christmas...its pretty cool. My buddy used to raise them. His last was 14.5' long! It ate turkeys!!!
 
That's a big bite. I think a bit of the info is wrong however. I went to the website where the video originated and it said there that the snake was an Anaconda and I would say that the snake did look like an older Anaconda that had lost much of it's coloration/spots. The only problem then is that Hippos are not from South American and Anacondas are not from Africa. Unless this happened in a zoo I would expect that the animal that was eaten was a Capybara rather than a hippo. Anyone else see it any differently? I guess that the snake could have been a Rock Python but I think that the coloration is more likely an Anaconda.
