Black Jacket Symphony last night
We saw the Black Jacket Symphony last night perform "Purple Rain" by Prince.
It was EXCELLENT!
if you've never seen them, they aren't impersonators but excellent musicians that re-create an entire album, note for note.
They play each song, in order, exactly like it is on the album. The singer sounded very much like Prince and the hottie back-up singers really made it sound like you just dropped the needle.
We bought tickets last night for their next show in September..."Thriller" by Michael Jackson
They tour with different shows. This is the first I've seen live (because my wife won tickets on the radio) but I'll be back. Good show!
