I gave Chris fishinvol on here a shout to see if he had time to restore my confidence in Chickamauga Lake yesterday. I always seem to be struggling on the Chick... the best days I have had are with Rogne for size and Chris for numbers. Too dumb to find them on my own I guess. Chris was available yesterday afternoon so I met him at HBSP.

Chris didn't disappoint... wind blowing and rain coming we didn't go too far from the ramp but started catching fish right off the bat. I didn't keep score but I am pretty sure I smoked Chris on numbers and he beat with on size..

I am sure we caught at least a dozen fish in the short time we were out and it was certainly a mixed bag of fish... I may miss a species here but we caught, perch, yellow bass, crappie, catfish, TWO gars and a few LM bass.

I will attempt to post pics below of the three best.... Didn't weigh them but I would say the biggest was pushing 6 with one maybe 4 and one maybe 3.... a few others that were keeper size and a lot of short fish.

Thanks Chris for a great afternoon on the lake... always a great guy to go out with... It was entertaining. Never saw two gars and catfish caught on the same trip on a rattle trap.

If you struggle like me shoot Chris a PM... he will find some fish for you.

Nice fish, sounds like a good trip! I went out with chris back in the fall when the frog bite was starting to get good, had a great time and he put us on fish quick. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trip

Dude, Glad you got on some! It can be tough down there. I went down there the day before yesterday and sucked it up. Went to the area I know better yesterday and caught 13 keepers on the trap. Trap bite is ON!

Thanks Greg ! Had blast. Greg poor mouths himself about how he can't catch fish, but I've fished with him twice now and I haven't seen the problem ! Hammered em both times.

Chris is on um'. With him on vacation this week and has clients every day this week, I think we are all fishing for second place this weekend at the CFF. emoWorthy I will predict he will be the winner this weekend. emoTongue Jmax
