My first time to launch at Sullivans never even been near that part of the lake / river so we ran down to Marion County park at blastoff. I had no idea 500 boats would be sitting in the no wake area getting ready to blast off for thier tournament. I just idled through them and waived. There were 3 boats already in the area we wanted to fish and when the other tournament blasted off we had 11 boats all within shouting distance.

We still managed to catch a lot of fish but most were about a quarter inch too short. We got a limit and started looking around to upgrade but the bite went stone cold. Not a single bite after 11:30. We fished back up river all the way past Racoon mountain with nothing to show for it.

Weighed our 3 little fish and and went home.

Always a good day just to be able to be on the water.

I think any Saturday now on the Tennessee River is a take a number kinda Saturday...there is tournaments and boats everywhere...but the weights overall are holding steady and still seeing some awesome fish weighed in.

we was one of the 3 boats there. We was the first ones there but I looked around an I had 3 boats to one side I could have pitch in there boat. Ray counted 11 boats too. It got to crowded for me.

Hope we didn't crowd you. I tried to get over in the corner away from the others but before I could work my way to the corner another boat came in between us and the rip rap and the guy caught a 3lber on his first cast. They went up and down that bank and got a 5 fish limit.
