The boss and me went to the Pig for the first ( and maybe last ) time yesterday. Kind of dis appointed after everything posted here. I ordered salad, ribs , and mac&cheese. she had salad, chicken supreme, and bp. Service was slow, salad was great, but when the entrees came, they were luke warm except for her bp. In deference to them, there was a large party ahead of us, and the server said they had a new cook. I doubt the boss will wanna go back, but I may sneak up there solo to give them another try, just to keep you guys from being liars.??

Been there twice and both times the owner was there cooking. We had good experiences. That may be the difference. The folks that opened that place also run the HBSP café and the menu was the same. We ate at the park a lot. Many of the people in Decatur say they like the food but find it a little on the high side for that area. I have not been back in a while but don't make it up there that often. emoScratch

Aside from the temp, the flavor was good. It was a little pricey ($46 for 2), but that included an appetizer. Main ptob was service and food temp. Im not as stringent as she is, esspecially when im a Starvin Marvin. But it was my idea, so ou know it was my fault! :>)

My daughter bakes some of their desserts for them. Not all of them, but the good ones. Grin. Of course, I'm bias. emoBigsmile emoGeezer
