bluetickblues, Watts barr lake, The 58,000 dollar largemouth, 3/29/17, Scott Peters, Zeke Essary
I haven't contributed much to the site thus far so I hope this makes up for that. Fished Wednesday 3/29/17 on watts bar lake. Had my 7 month old son for the day and tried to be a good dad and not go fishing but the weather was just to nice. Launched about 5 pm to enjoy what was left of the day. My fishing partner is notoriously tight with money and was entertaining buying a slightly used 2017 skeeter with a hefty 58,000 price tag. He says before we launch if we catch a good fish this evening then I'm going to buy the boat. We had fished the lake numerous times with little to no success. What followed was this giant 11.25lb largemouth that cost one man 58,000 dollars. Little Zeke did his best to catch one like daddy but he will have to wait for next trip. Weighed the fish on my boga grips so I'm confident the weight is accurate.
