I just got done installing my bluewater leds in my boat tonight. Pretty easy install and makes seeing your stuff at night way easier.

Dude, that looks great! I've wanted to know how to do that because it is annoying sometimes not having lighted compartments... Can you give me a quick summary of what you bought and how you installed it?! Thanks so much!

I got them from bluewaterled.com. It comes as a kit and all you really need is some wire, switch, and connectors. They attach using 3m double sided tape that they send you. It took me about two hours to install. The basic kit is around 85.00 and the deluxe is 130.00 I think. You can even get your choice of like 4 or so colors. The strips are around 1/4 inch tall so they arent in the way at all.

I'll definitely have to check that out, sounds like exactly what I need. Did you get the basic, or the upgraded kit? Just wanted to find out how many lights were in each kit...

I bought the deluxe kit. It came with 11 led strips and 3 livewell/cooler lights. Took me about 2.5 hours to install and get everything cleaned up.

Thanks for the info, one last question. What color are your livewells? Mine are black, so I don't know if the LED's will reflect as good as if they were white...

Mine are gray I would probably get the clear livewell lights if I had it to do over but the blue ones do look kinda cool. If you want to come look at them before you decide to do it just let me know. The pictures really dont do it justice
