Looking into a new (or used) aluminum boat. Found Nichols Marine that carries G3 boats. Any other places that I should look? I'm new to this area.

Thanks! WM

Call Robbie at Bunch Marine 865-376-7227 or look him up here TNsnow. He posted having some they had picked up at a good price. I don't remember what type they were.

Absolutley! Westside Marine. My grandpa owns it and sells evertday. new and used. ill post his house number for now. 706-861-2312. he can custom build your boat. call him, really good!

Island Cove Outdoors on Hwy 58. They are the local Tracker dealer and they helped me out greatly when I bought mine.

Harris Marine at the Oak Ridge exit off I-40 has Alumnacraft-made just like a Lund, but at a much lower price. I love mine.

Great info guys!! Really looking at a few specific models from Tracker, Lund, and G3. I'll have to give these guys a call!

I bought my G3 from Madisonville Marine in Madisonville TN on 411. They have a very large inventory and are good to work with.

My grandpa has brand new Weldbilts in stock and empty hulls. Can purchase all assecories on site and boat will also be built on site. Has about 10 used boats on the lot right now ans they all run. All boats are tested and ran. It would at least be worth calling him and see what all he has in. He just sold a 14 foot for 500.00.

I second Hook1, the Island Cove bunch just got in a bunch of new trackers. Most are still covered with the shipping plastic. I drove by there this morning and it is getting full for the summer with boats. emoThumbsup Jmax

Thanks for the info troutfly. Does he have access to prebuilt boats with everything or just the hull and then he adds everything? I'm looking for a nice aluminum boat with carpet, decks, and all.

Went by Island Cove a few hours ago. He did have a few in stock. Look pretty nice too! Seems to have a good interest rate with financing. Probably why they have been one of the top 25 Tracker dealers for a few years.

Hook1,

Tried to send you a PM but it didn't seem to go through. Thanks for recommending Island Cove. I talked with Joe today and looked at a few. Seems that they have a pretty good interest rate (5.5%) for financing. How do you like your boat? Does it ride good? I've read a couple negative things about Tracker online but what do you expect being the largest retailer of boats in the world! I've read a lot of great things as well.

I'm looking at the 175's with the 60 Merc 4 stroke. Think they are quality built machines??

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I bought my Pro Crappie 175 from Brian at Island Cove in 2006. Should've bought the Pro Team, but didn't know any better at the time. They have a great price on the Pro Team 175 right now and when I was there a couple of weeks ago (Lookin @ the Z6) they also had one with a 2 stroke, which was at an even better price. The financing is great and I think it goes through TVFCU.

Good luck and post pics of your new rig when you get it.

I got hte Pro Team 190 with a 90 on it. Good ride as long as the waves and wind aren't too bad. Unfortunately, it seems the only time Chick is calm is first thing in the morning. Late in the afternoon on a windy day can hurt a little. All I can say is theres no substitute for a good vhull. These boats just arent heavy enough to cut a good wake. My favorite thing is the fuel economy. The most I have ever ran out at one time was a little over a half tank and that was a 12 hour night time CBA tx. No complaints from me other than I wish I had more HP on the back. Good luck.
