I noticed something while cleaning my boat today. There are two drains on the floor of the boat. I could see water down in the drain closest to the front of the boat. I ran the bilge again and it pumped some water out and went dry. I looked back in the drain and there is still water standing in the bottom. Any clue how to drain the rest? Do I have a seal problem?

It may need to be left on a hill for a few minutes to drain the rest of the water out. If you do this and it goes dry, then fills back up, it could be foam in between fiberglass is saturated, and may need more time to dry. Does the boat sit outside? If it does, it may take a few days to dry out. Does it take on water while fishing? If it does, I would check the grommets for the splash well and drain plug, and check the engine mounting bolts to make sure it is not leaking thru the transom.

There are most likely ribs and pockets in the bottom of your boat that has water traped. do what was advised about raising the front of the boat. When you are on the water running flip on your bilge for a few seconds. That water would be pushed toward the rear and could be pumped out at that time.

Send it back to Rob for a warranty!!!! That drain plug is a huge problem

LOL...

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm figuring that it just needs to be raised up and drained real good. It doesn't take on water while I'm fishing.

Man...what do you think about a guy that dosent give you the "How to Drain Your Drainplug" Booklet!!! I'd file a complaint!
