boat oil

guys i have a 98 mariner 150. ( i think its a 98) emoScratch and i have been looking for the oil plug for the foot of the boat to see if it needs changed or some added. well needles to say i can't find the darn screw plug or whatever im looking for emoQuestion if anyone could kinda tell me what to look for and what side it should be on im sure it would help me out.....WHAT KINDA OIL SHOULD I USE IF NEEDED IN THE FOOT OF THE MOTOR...emoThanks

Take your prop off and you will see it. Its right inside the housing on the bottom. I would just use Mercury gear lube.
