boat problems

I have a 98 travker pro team 175 with a 60 hp tracker mtr.has been running fine. 5000rpm now all the sudden it will run good for awhile and 4000 rpm is all i can get out of it.just replaced the filter runs alittle better but cant trust it.it idles rough also.i did run some sea foamin the fuel didnt help.did a comp check 122 in all 3 cyls.seems like when i give it gas is bogs down.please help. emoBang

Check your fuel line and bulb.

Fuel pump. Had one do that on tracker...Brand new too!
Run it over to Wess at Island Cove. He'll know right off the bat.

would the fuel pump just work part of the time.it runs real good part time the other part time it acts like it is loading up and a miss fire pop.where is the pump located on a tracker 60 hp.? emoBang

Hey Breeze I have a 91 tracker with 40 Jo-tracker Mine had basically same thing going on found out that some hose clamps needed tightening up if you have self oiler check all clamps at times the neoprene clamps get real hot and don't seal well check and change ASAP I believe this could help also make sure all air is out of oiler.

hey james.i ran the boat today and it is running better.after checking my plug wires i found 1 that is iffy.so i will replace them.thanks again james could be bad fuel[ water].i hate that when it happens.
