I started out just redoing carpet and noticed some damage to my floor. Me and my wife and son started by pulling carpet and then worked on the floors. I'm glad I did because it was terrible. emoVomit It was water logged stringers and foam and it was a tough job just getting it out. We put stringers back in and with me not being an expert we didn't pull the cap and just laid the new floor from front to underneath seats. emoCrazy

We worked on it from about beginning of March till this past weekend. My hat is off to people that do this for a living. If you charge 2000 dollars with all the work that has to be done your getting shorted lol. emoBigsmile

Materials: Carpet and wood came from Home Depot, Fiberglass kit from Wal-mart.
Helpers: My wife and my two boys. My wife done a great job with helping me so I rewarded her by taking her out Mothers day. emoAngler

I'd say you did a heck of a job on it. Hopefully that will be last time you ever have to do that.

I hope I don't lol It was a nice project to do, but I have alot of respect for people who do it for a living.

I took pics as I went because I was excited about doing it and couldn't wait to share it. Trust me, I'm no engineer or carpet installer and didn't have the money for someone else to do it so I took it opone myself to do it. My wife is great cause she helped alot and looked over me when I'd get frustrated lol I wanted to share it with everyone and to show that others can do it too. I appreciate the comments, it made it worth sharing.
