Boat Seats

I fished a tournament back in March on Chickamauga when the waves where around 4 foot and the boat seats in my procraft broke from where they where mounted. When I was driving down the road they both flew out. I am trying to find a place to get some new seats. I would like to replace the ones that where in there with the type that are attached by a hinge like the seats on stratos boats. I have not been able to find where to buy them. If anyone could help i would appreciate it much.

Paul you have waited 6 months and you don't have your seats fixed yet. Just wait another month and after you get married you won't have any need for boat seats, or the boat. emoUpsmile

Paulj,I used to be a used car dealer and I baught my Champion at a insuance auction.It had been swamped out on the lake michigan.It needed all new seat's and everything else actually.I baught all 4 seats on e-bay.They are new Champion boat's seat's and I saved hundred's.E-bay has ton's of seat's on auction for boat's.Check it out ,pm me if you need help.

Good luck paulj, & better bring some $$$. I was gona get some for my old Bullet & they wanted $275.00 a seat from Bullet and it would be 12 weeks. I got some at Sportsmans Warehouse for $110.00 each that matched ok & realy comfortable. If you get anything worth putting in your boat, get ready to pay. Good luck

I think I need to get cheez a gig at the comedy catch and be his agent. I could probably make some money to pay for my seats. Thanks for the help. 2 jigs, u think I could put a hinge on the wise seat instead of mounting with the 4 bolts that come with it?

You can get any kind of seat you like and then you can get some stainless piano hinge at Walter A. Woods,cut it to fit and mount it yourself. Probably do it for 1/4 what you would pay from a marine dealer. If you want I can help you do it. Give me a call.

Yeah Paul, you could do it your self, like Cheez said. Get you some plating & mount the hinge to it & mount the seat to the plating. Thats what I'm running into right now.
