Was wanting to know when the Knoxville and Chattanooga boat shows would be taking place.

Birmingham Fishing and Boat Show 29 Jan -1 Feb
Nashville Fishing and Boat Show (The good one at the Fair Grounds) 6-8 Feb 09
Jackson TN, Fishing and Boat Show is 12-15 Feb 09
Chattanooga Fishing and Boat Show Camp Jordan is 27 Feb - 1 Mar 09

The fishing show at the Jacob building(Chilhowee Park) in Knoxville is next weekend. The Knoxville boat show is Last weekend in Jan and the very next weekend in Feb. it is a 2 weekend show.

...........Nashville boat show is going on now!

Just went today...of course I have to being a manufacture. Most PITIFUL turn out I've ever seen or heard of but I guess with the state of the economy, it fits.

Talked to Jason at C&O Marine, they seemed to be selling pretty decent but it was the runabouts that were getting gone. Not too much on the bass boat lines at all.

Modern marine, Nashville's oldest dealer, had only sold 1 unit all weekend. That's sad!!! They usually sell at least 15-20 at the show and another 10 or better afterwards.

Anderson marine looked pretty decent with 7 units sold.


Not many vendors this year either. I didn't see hardly any of the fishing suppliers there. No Castaway rods, No All Star Rods and no All Pro Rods. Maybe 1 decent vendor there with a couple of All Stars but nothing like it was years past. Usually the 3rd floor of the trade center has a ton of vendors in it...maybe 5 this year? 2nd floor was about 1/2 full.

Just no turnout.

should be plenty of Triton and Ranger stuff at Jacobs Building next weekend at The Fishing Show. Bunch Marine (Triton) and Johnny`s Outboard (Ranger) will have a complete line-up as well as their aluminum and runabouts...pontoons etc.
Had plenty of vendors and allkinds of fishin` stuff last year.
BlueRidge Bass Club will have a booth and will raffling off one of the fancy Shimano computerized reels again. Stop by and say howdy and get a chance or two. I`ll probably be there most of the day Saturday.
Also be the FLW version of Casting Kids miday saturday too. so bring the kiddies.
