WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY TIRES FOR A BOAT TRAILER. A FAMILY MEMEBER OF MINE IS LOOKING FOR SOME AND REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ( YEAH RIGHT). HE NEEDS 4 FOR TANDEM AXLE.

Not being a smart aleck, but if he wants cheap tires he won't be able to go with trailer tires. Your talking 70-100 apiece. There is marked success running car tires on tandem trailers though, given the weight of a bass boat. Actually Basscat sells there Tandem trailers with car tires (Coppers or Firestones) now instead of Marathons.

If your buddy is bent on buying trailer tires, thengo with Maxxis if you can find them they are as good if not better than Carlisle,Loadmasters,GY Marathons, and others. They are usually cheaper too.

Call Village Tire 479-7958 in Cleveland.

Price they quote you always includes all taxes and federal fees.

Agree with BBass, the Goodyear Marathon are the best trailer tires I've found. No matter what make sure he gets trailer tires unless he likes blowouts.
