I have a 18ft procraft and put new tires on the trailer back in july. I noticed this past weekend that the left one is wearing on the inside and i so noticed when the boat is loaded on the trailer the tire will set in at the top and without the boat it will straighten back up. could it be that the leaf spring is week on that side or could it be something else.

Thanks

Could be a weak leaf spring. Better to change both sides also.

Unloaded, push at tue top of the tire. Does it have alot of play? If so, could be bad bearing or a seating issue with the bearing. Spindle was never damaged was it!

Normal trailer camber is welded at 89 degrees. Tiedown engineering goes 88. Ours are spec'd at 89 and yes, you will see the tire move it at the top. That's normal. But both sides should do it unless you have a more weight to that one aide of the boat and I'm talking 150 to 200 plus.

thanks for the help i will check the play the next time i take it out. and to the best of my knowledge the spindal has not been damaged. and i know what you mean about the i-phones.

Depends. We only carry a few sizes. Measure center line of the hes that are on each end of the springs. (or bolt head centers). 3 ,4 or 5 leaf?
