Does anyone know if there is any type of law that states how to travel the main channel. I thought it was to be used like a road keep right. Also I would like to see that all PWC to be limited to outside the channel operation.

Staying on the right would seem to be a good idea, but I do not recall from the Boating Safety Class I took (in 1987) that it is required. If you are on the left and someone is to your right, then maintain course, of course. The boating regulations can be found online.

i always learned red right return.. meaning returning from sea you keep the red buoy on your right
