Boating on the nick-a-jack

Heading over there on Sat. and never been. I've gotten a map and have been looking over it good a noticed there are some pretty shallow areas. I was wondering if ther is anything I need to be watching for such as rocks sand bars etc. that is more prevalant on the nickajack than other lakes? Thanks for any input, have been reading the latest post for there as far as fishing to get the game plan together.

Stay in the clear water areas and you won't hit anything, the shallow areas are well marked with miles of grass or milfoil, there are a few rock piles below the old hales bar dam but you can spot them a mile away, they mark an oldRR bed and road that was beside the river channel. If you go below Nickajack dam there isna't a thing to hit from one side of the river to the other.
