What will it take? Last year it took 28.16 lbs to win and it was won by Chuck and Brad James. They were on a "Kick'in Butt" program for a while last year and this is one of those they did. There were a lot of folks that did well on this one, it took over 20 lbs to get a check and there were 100 boats in it. What will it take this year? I am always surprised at the kind of weights someone in the CBA will seem to come in with. In the last couple of days the lake has gotten tough for most. However the weather looks to be stabilizing and the temp is going to be coming up. emoScratch It may very well turn into another great weight event.

Anyone want to guess? I am going to say that Rogne Brown is due and go with him on this one. With 28.54 lbs. emoBigsmile Jmax

Winners from Last April's CBA, The James Gang.

Either way I think it is going to be a fun tournament. Steady weather conditions all week leading up to it. Should be a lot of fish caught on Saturday. I'm going to say 29.18# and will be won by Chuck and Brad again. I think there will be 24 bags over 20 pounds.

I agree with Shane, I think you will need 21lbs to get paid and 30 will win. Rogne Brown is my pick though

15lbs got a check in the last 2 didnt it?....I say 30lbs wins and the weights trail off pretty quick considering you have 200 BASS Southern open contestants that will plowing the lake thurs-sat.

I caught 27 and a half today. :) If I can catch that someone like Rogne can catch 33 lbs. So I am upping my weight guess. emoBigsmile

28.5 for the win. 19 to get a check. Looks like will be alot of wrapped boats cruising the lake

emoBang Here is something that just left me shaking my head and wondering. I am not a huge fan of Lunar Tables but over the years it does seem on a good day post of a Lunar Table you do catch more. I just looked at this month's, this Saturday just happens to be the worst day of the month! Prime feeding time is 3:41 to 4:57 a.m. and the secondary is in the late evening after the CBA ends. emoDoh Maybe we are all in for a low surprise weight. emoScratch Jmax

It'll take 28 and change to win and the weights will drop off pretty quick I think. There is a ton of 1-3 lb fish being caught right now so there'll be plenty of limits but the big girls are still being somewhat elusive from what I gathered on the water yesterday.
