I fish it allot, but I don't fish during the summer much anymore. It's basically a flooded river channel. There's an equal amount of smallies and largemouth, with a few spots that some rouge bassfisherman have stocked. It's in the center of the Tri-Cities so it has one house after another and everyone has a dock so that's the primary shallow pattern. The lake has allot of traffic on it from around 10 AM until around midnight when the drunks start going in, so be careful. Accidents are common! If I go down there in the summer, I fish from midnight till morning. Try jigs, worms, and a big blade through the night and throw topwater around the docks in the morning until traffic gets up... Then go to bed! The striper run up the river at night, so hit them with redfin's or live bait. Watch out for the logs and trash that acumelate where the cold water meets the warm lake water..
