I've used these for a couple weeks now and I am very impressed. They provoke violent strikes with a high speed, pumping retrieve over grass or rock. Last week I pitched it to laydowns and was amazed at how well it moved through and over pine branches. This jig consistently produces largemouth around the 3lb and better range. I have been using the black-n-blue with a matching Yum chunk but tomorrow I plan to try out the white "Bleeding Shad" model.

I have one of the white ones out in the boat that I got back in Feb. at the BPS Spring Classic but I never have used it emoBang I guess I need to now emoSmile

I tried the white one in feeding schools of spots and didn't get bit...not even a bump. In fact, I think it scared them because we had to wait for the school to reassemble each time I threw it. However, it definitely works on largemouth in weeds. Burning it across the surface didn't draw a strike but slow-rolling (or whatever you call it with a jig) got their attention. I let it fall to about 8 feet and retrieved it slowly across the top of submerged weeds and in an hour caught two around 4lbs.

i have a bullet shaped head jig mold that I use and it works as well as any jig i have ever seen and i can male them for about 30 cents. Although i seem to find the 3 lb average someone one here stays very hard to believe. I have caught fish swimming a jig but like every thing else small fish eat it too.
