Dec. 21

• 2:00 p.m. Gildan New Mexico: Washington State (-3.5) vs. Colorado State, Albuquerque, N.M.
• 3:30 p.m. ABC Royal Purple Las Vegas: Fresno State vs. USC (-5.5), Las Vegas
• 5:30 p.m. ESPN Famous Idaho Potato: Buffalo (-3) vs. San Diego State, Boise, Idaho
• 9 p.m. ESPN R+L Carriers New Orleans: Tulane vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, New Orleans

Here come the first set of bowls and I am liking a little left hand twist on most of these. Washington State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Louisiana Lafayette.

Went two and two on the first day. I was watching Washington and Colorado States. Washington up by 15 with 2:58 to play. Colorado State scored 18 points and won by three. What a way to start bowl week.emoLaugh

Dec. 23

• 2 p.m. ESPN Beef 'O' Brady's: East Carolina (-12) vs. Ohio, St. Petersburg, Fla.

Dec. 24

• 8 p.m. ESPN Sheraton Hawaii: Boise State vs. Oregon State (-2.5), Honolulu

I am picking East Carolina and Oregon State for these two. Oregon State has been playing decent ballover the last weeks of the season and East Carolina just seems to be able to find ways to win.

Dec. 26

• 6 p.m. ESPN Little Caesars Pizza: Pittsburgh vs. Bowling Green (-5), Detroit
• 9:30 p.m. ESPN S.D. County Credit Union Poinsettia: Utah State vs. Northern Illinois (-1), San Diego

I will take the Mark May team of Pittsburg on this one. As for the Poinsettia bowl I like the team that beat Stanford and go with Utah State. On the ESPN bowl site I am nowfour and two through the first six games. I hope I can keep the streak going for a few more games.

Dec. 27

• 2:30 p.m. ESPN Military Bowl Presented By Northrop Grumman: Marshall (-2) vs. Maryland, Annapolis, Md.
• 6 p.m. ESPN Texas: Syracuse vs. Minnesota (-4), Houston
• 9:30 p.m. ESPN Fight Hunger: BYU vs. Washington (-3), San Francisco

These are some tough picks. Let's see, Marshall, Syracuse, and BYU. currently 6-2

Dec. 28

• Noon ESPN New Era Pinstripe: Rutgers vs. Notre Dame (-15), Bronx, N.Y.
• 3:20 p.m. ESPN Belk: Cincinnati vs. North Carolina (-3), Charlotte, N.C.
• 6:45 p.m. ESPN Russell Athletic: Miami vs. Louisville (-3), Orlando, Fla.
• 10:15 p.m. ESPN Buffalo Wild Wings: Michigan vs. Kansas State (-3), Tempe, Ariz.

picks: Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Louisville, Kansas State. Currently 8-3, bad pick of BYU. I like underdogs.

Dec. 30

• 11:45 a.m. ESPN Bell Helicopter Armed Forces: Middle Tennessee vs. Navy, Fort Worth, Texas - OFF
• 3:15 p.m. ESPN Franklin American Mortgage Music City: Ole Miss (-3) vs. Georgia Tech, Nashville, Tenn.
• 6:45 p.m. ESPN Valero Alamo: Oregon (-13) vs. Texas, San Antonio
• 10:15 p.m. ESPN National University Holiday: Arizona State (-13) vs. Texas Tech, San Diego

Now at 11-3, Kansas St. was pretty impressive against the maise and blue.

Modays picks: Navy, OL' Miss, Oregon(quack, quack, quack), and Arizona St. I would like to have picked Middle Tennessee State but I have wateched Navy in a couple of games this year. The mid-shipmen are very good at running the option and their defense stays at home and tackles well.

Suprisingly the Duke & A&M was quite a game, if you like unbridled offense. There was a hundred scored and a few rabbits fell from the hat.

18-6, had a great start New Years Day was 4-0. Just missed the boat on the last two on the first day of 2014.
