Some one told me that you did not need to change out braided line from one season to the next......Does anyone know or have any experience with this.....I am new to fishing with braid, and am use to changing line several times a year.
Please advise if you have any info.

I flip the line at the end of the year personally but I know guys that use power pro until all the color comes off with no problem.

Likewise - I just flip/reverse mine.  It doesn't get hard or brittle either way.  Naturally as you fish and clip your line, you keep the damaged end trimmed.  Keep using it and adding more mono filler to keep your spool full.

I change mine every 3 years or so, and I fish a lot... emoSmile

Also you guys be aware that the new Spiderwire "Invisibraid" is not anything like what I would consider invisible. It is just white instead of green. I actually think it seems much more visible than the green ultracast (which works well and what I would recommend as far as Spiderwire). I guess if you go somewhere that has white water then the white colored braid might justify its name as "Invisibraid". I was very disappointed in it if you couldn't tell... :(

I have one rod with braid on it,for frog fishing, but I have had it on there for the last two years and it works fine.
