Well last night turned out bad for my two favorite professional franchises. The Braves lost the game that would've kept them alive in the NLCS by a walkoff homer. They played well but not good enough. As for the Falcons, well emoBang emoBang emoBang 4th and 1 with two chances to punch it in the end zone at the half and they coudn't get it done. ONE YARD!!!!! If you have even a mediocre at best offensive line you should be able to get one yard. They won't win many games at all this year if they get stopped on the one like that. I realize the Jets have a stout defense but last year the Falcons owned the field mainly with the ability to convert short distance downs with a pounding running game. Maybe they should've kept Michael Turner because Jackson has only played one game. emoAngry As for defense, they have been far from good. Too many open guys in the secondary and not enough pass rush. They let a rookie pick them apart last night and he's not exaclty a prolific passer by any means. Looks like its gonna be a short year for the Falcons unless they can put together a bunch of wins and play for the wild card. They're now 5 games behind the Saints who are cleaning house this year. emoBang emoBang
