Broke my motorguide trolling motor yesterday well part of it , I hit a rock going pretty good clip, and the hinge that holds the TM to the arm popped when I hit the rock, the only thing that is still holding the shaft on is the screw on opposite side of hinge.. does any one here have a dead motorguide trolling motor bow mount or the mounting bracket that you dont need or want ?

If you don't find one call John Swallows at 479-7816. He sometimes has used parts around and if not he could tell you what a new one would cost. :( Jmax

I could prob get the guys at the machine shop at work to make me a new piece that broke out of stainless steel or alum, Ive looked at it I think I can put in a couple of bolts on the hinge side to clamp it together untill I can get some extra money to buy a breakaway gator mount for it

Good luck on buying a gator mount without the trolling motor. They do not seem to be willing to sell just the mounts.

Ive seen the mounts all over the net for sale, they aint cheap, but cheaper than new trolling motor that has already, even have seen a few on ebay used cheap
